A cheeky mum snuck into a luxury holiday resort by using her old all-inclusive wristband.
Roxanne Balciunas, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, was able to steal luxury food, drink and use the facilities for free during her stay at the Ramada Hotel & Suites, Kusadasi, Aydin, Turkey, this month.
She had previously stayed at the resort in May but when she discovered her old wristband she booked her second trip.
Roxanne had it all planned careful by staying at a cheap apartment just 10 minutes away from the resort.
She took her two kids along, aged 13 and six, and originally claimed to have snuck into the resort to surprise her mum.
But the prospect of luxury clouded Roxanne’s sane judgement and she instead dined on ice cream, guzzled lots of booze, and ate luxury meals all for free.
She relished in all the glory by posting a video to TikTok where she said: ‘Call me a thief all you like but I enjoyed my week of free food and drink’.
Roxanne and her family live a life of luxury by going on holiday every month and exclusively stay in four and five-star resorts.
She said the fact it was free made the holiday more ‘exciting’ and the family ate more than during their first stay at the resort.
Roxanne manipulated her own mum to stay at the resort and said: ‘I kind of steered my mum towards that hotel, and when I found our bands [from May], I was like “this is great.”
‘They didn’t check my wristbands when I first walked in. Because I had it on, nobody checked because they could see I was wearing one.
‘My son thought it was quite funny. Every time we were eating something, he was like, “free chips, free food”‘.
The mum admitted the family got lucky because the resort were using the same coloured wristbands the week they stayed in May.
‘My wristband was slightly different. It was a really fine print in black, whereas my mum’s new one had a bigger print,’ Roxanne said.
‘I was really conscious that they’d notice, but luckily they didn’t.
‘Sometimes they have different colour bands, so we got lucky that it was that colour band that week.
‘I don’t know if I’d do it again. It’s on TikTok so they’ve probably seen it.’
Viewers of the TikTok video were quick to offer their differing opinions on the matter.
A person said: ‘Bloody hell – you a braver than me.’
But most people were frustrated by the video, with one person saying: ‘So if you can afford to go [on holiday] every month, why would you steal from the hotel like that?’
Another slammed her actions and said: ‘Feel sad for those people who work really hard for things and people like you just think they can cheat the system.’
