B&M is stocking a nostalgic treat on its shelves – but shoppers have been left divided.
The discounter is known for selling peculiar lines of sweets including Fruit Salad wafers and Wham space babies.
And shoppers have recently spotted the retailer’s Hannah’s choc lover box on shelves.
The £5 set comes with a selection of white mice and white and milk chocolate jazzles inside.
The snack box was recently shared in a post on the Snack News and Reviews Facebook page and some shoppers have said they can’t wait to bag one.
One said: “This was the best Christmas present ever last year, I loved it,” while another added: “Bit of me this is.”
However, not all shoppers are so keen, saying it’s not good value-for-money.
One said: “Don’t get much in there, so don’t bother as not worth the money.”
Another added: “Not worth it there’s hardly any sweets in there, you’ll get better value from the pick and mix.”
If you’re keen on the chocolate box, it is exclusive to B&M so you won’t find it anywhere else, plus it can only be bought in-store.
You can find your nearest B&M branch by using the store locator on its website.
Of course you should always shop around when buying any product as you might find it cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley, Price Runner and Price Spy let you compare prices on thousands of products.
That said, as this is a B&M exclusive you won’t be able to get the exact same product elsewhere.
It’s not the first time shoppers have been left in a tizz over nostalgic sweets on shelves.
McVities recently brought back an iconic discontinued snack to supermarket aisles.
Meanwhile, B&M shoppers went into a spin in February after packets of nostalgic Opal Fruits sweets were spotted on its shelves.
Plus, Heinz’s baked bean pizza made a controversial return last year.
How to save money at B&M
One sure fire way to save money at your local B&M is to use its scanner app.
It lets you see if the item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop shelf and can help you bag some serious discounts.
Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock B&M is trying to shift.
That, or items labelled “big brands” and “big savings”.
Meanwhile, a former B&M manager revealed the best time and day of the week to visit for the cheapest prices – Wednesday at 10am.
This is when items get reduced in price to as little as 10p.
Next, there’s a few Facebook groups where B&M shoppers regularly post bargains they’ve found in their local shop.
B&M Bargains, Extreme Money Saving Deals and More, B&M Scanner and Other Bargains! and B&M Scanner and Huge Bargains UK are all worth a follow.
