The tech world is reeling after Open AI – the company behind ChatGPT – ousted its co-founder and CEO Sam Altman.

The board of the artificial intelligence firm said it had lost confidence in him after a review found he was “not consistently candid in his communications” with them.

Another co-founder Greg Brockman has also quit after it was announced that he would be stepping down as president.
