Officials from the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry say more than a hundred people have been killed during Israeli air strikes, in one of the deadliest nights of the eleven week old conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu – who visited troops in Gaza today – warned that fighting would intensify.
