Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) say they have sent six fire engines to Blackpool Tower, after a fire at the iconic landmark.

Videos from social media appears to show flames in the metal section close to the top.

LFRS have called on people to stay away from the tower and said that they have drones in operation.
