Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) dark and disturbing behaviour is about to get worse in Coronation Street soon when he vows to kill Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).
Mason and his mates have bullied poor Liam for months. Their confrontations have included throwing rubbish at him, filming horrible and upsetting moments and putting them online, and even threatening the young boy with a knife.
Coming up, in the school corridor, Dylan (Liam McCheyne) asks Mason if he plans to return Liam’s phone but Mason laughs and tells Dylan that if Liam actually turns up for their meeting, he’s a dead man.
After overhearing the conversation, Liam stares Mason out and promises he’ll be there.
Approaching his friend, Dylan warns Liam not to meet Mason, but the confident lad is adamant that it’s time he stood up to him.
As Liam approaches Mason and his pals, he overhears Dylan referring to him as a loser. Goaded by Mason, Liam rams Dylan up against a wall – just as Mrs Crawshaw appears.
Later in the week, after making it clear to Gary (Mikey North) that he’s done enough damage, Maria (Samia Longchambon) sets off to the police station with Liam in tow.
