The tragic 16-year-old killed in the horrific Maidstone car crash after a Toyota smashed into a barrier and overturned has been named as Alisha Marie Hobman.
The crash, which took place on the A429 at around 6.45pm on Saturday, saw a 15-year-old boy rushed to hospital with serious while the teenager driver, 17 arrested.
Paying tribute a heartbreaking tribute to her teenage daughter, Alisha’s mother Cody Marie Hobman wrote on social media: ‘My princess now the most beautifuliest angel in the sky.
‘Oh Alisha my heart’s hurting. I’m praying I wake up and it’s the biggest dream ever but sadly no, I’ll never see your beautiful face again after we’ve laid u to rest.’
In another post, Ms Hobman wrote: ‘Oh baby girl what we would give to hold u one last time. Time is show precious as you have prove and you were taken from us far to early. You had our whole life ahead of you.’

The incident occurred on the A249 near Maidstone at around 6.45pm on Saturday, when a white Toyota Hilux hit a road barrier and overturned, Kent Police said
‘It hurts, we don’t know what to do. Such a short time on earth but you impacted so many. My body’s numb and my heart’s broken. Love you forever baby girl,’ she added.
Kent Police said the crash when a white Toyota Hilux hit a road barrier and over turned. The vehicle had been travelling in the direction of Sittingbourne and collided with the barrier near the junction for Church Hill.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries, but was later arrested on suspicion of causing by death by dangerous driving and taken into custody, the force said. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Alisha’s father also paid tribute to his daughter, writing on Facebook: ‘My beautiful girl, dad Aaron will love u forever shine bright till we meet again.’
Her aunt Kellie Ponter added: ‘My beautiful niece grew her wings last night. Alisha Marie we love you soo much. You were amazing my girl! You shine bright and don’t let anyone take your sparkle.
‘You are one in a million. Nanna and Auntie Bella will love you forever. You have left the biggest hole in our hearts. Life will never be the same. I’ll give anything to give you one last tickle of your arm! We love you baby girl.’
Inquiries are being led by the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) and officers are urging drivers with dashcam to check for any important footage.
They also want to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the Toyota in the moments leading up to it.
