EVERY parent with young children has dreamed of having a moment’s peace.
For one mom, it can be difficult to find somewhere to decompress in her 400-square-foot tiny home.
In her video, Juli Wood (@juliannwood) showed her followers around her unique living situation.
“Point of view: You live in a 400-square-foot tiny home in Hawaii with your husband and three kids,” the TikToker told her viewers.
The family’s compact home included a living area with a couch, TV, fridge, oven, and boiler.
‘We have everything we need but not much space for anything extra,” Juli said.
Just off the living room was the couple’s bedroom and their children’s room.
While her youngest child had a cot, the couple crafted a unique bunk bed set for their older kids.
“We built it like that with the roof and railings so our kids don’t fall down from the top bunk,” Juli explained.
The stay-at-home mom also showed her followers how she manages to do dishes with no kitchen sink.
She filmed herself as she scrubbed her pots and pans at an outdoor sink on the home’s patio.
The patio also included a large outdoor dining table and a built-in swing.
“Living in this small space has allowed us the financial freedom for me to be a stay-at-home mom for the last four years,” she explained.
“It’s not always easy to live tiny with kids but we’ve worked hard to turn it into a home we love.”
Her followers shared their thoughts on the set-up in the comments section.
“I love your outdoor space. It’s so cozy and relaxing!” wrote one impressed viewer.
“The outdoor space, I’m sure that’s where most time is spent!” said another TikTok user.
“I love it, having your dining table outside was a good call,” commented a third person.
