Good Morning Britain has confirmed who will be replacing Ben Shephard following the announcement that he would be leaving the show for a job on This Morning.
The much-loved ITV presenter will join Cat Deeley on the famous sofa as replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield after the duo resigned at different points last year.
Ben spent 10 years on GMB, hosting alongside the likes of Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway.
But viewers will be pleased to hear his replacement is a familiar face.
Confirming a more regular slot, Lingo presenter Adil Ray took to X with a message.
He wrote: ‘From Friday, I’ll be back @gmb for most Fridays until the end of May. First run is the next three Fridays until the Easter break. Hope you’ll join me.’
Adil continued: ‘In the current climate it feels like a huge privilege to be on morning telly. Would love it if you joined us from 6am. Thank you.’
The 49-year-old is no stranger to GMB, having temporarily replaced Piers Morgan in 2018 before returning the following year.
More to come.
