Emmerdale’s Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingley) has put herself in potentially grave danger with a dangerous warning to villainous Kim Tate (Claire King).
It’s been a dramatic year so far for Ruby, having swanned into the village to seemingly reconnect with estranged husband Caleb (William Ash), before setting her sights on his business assets.
After exposing his affair with Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh) at Tom and Belle King’s (James Chase and Eden Taylor-Draper) wedding reception, she then affirmed her plans to get her hands on Caleb’s cash with Kim.
Rather stupidly, Caleb has thus far been blind to his wife’s plans and welcomed her back into his bed at any opportunity.
Earlier this week, Tracy was planning to present her nursery proposal at The Hide, but Ruby had given Caleb the heads up to ruin her business opportunity by bringing up her past as a sex worker.
He stood up and exposed every detail, even mentioning their affair.
Despite the bad blood between Tracy and her own husband Nate (Jurrell Carter), he was furious at the public humiliation and met up with dad Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and aunt Chas (Lucy Pargeter) to sort out the ordeal.
In tonight’s (8th March) episode, Ruby packed her bags (again) and vowed to leave the village – but Caleb wasn’t believing a word of what she said.
Unzipping her suitcase, he found she’d only taken a pair of high heels and her planned departure was just a façade.
Meanwhile, Tracy was mortified after the previous day’s events and met up with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to ask if she’d reconsider her nursery plans.
As she sat worried with Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick), the pair couldn’t help but lash out at Ruby and Caleb as they arrived for some lunch at The Hide.
Kim then stepped in, realising the gravity of the events, and exposed Ruby’s malicious plan to Caleb – but after an initial disagreement, he once again forgave her.
Silly man.
The two headed home to Mill Cottage and cosied up on the sofa and shared a kiss, but not before Ruby called by Home Farm and warned Kim not to make an enemy of her.
Has Kim finally met her match or should Ruby be more concerned about what she’s capable of?
