Melissa (@iheart_melissa) filmed herself celebrating the feat in a video on TikTok.

“I can’t believe I did this all by myself,” she said.

She stepped out, all smiles, to share her handy work on her own vehicle.

“I’m so proud of myself because my headlight was burned out and I replaced it myself,” she gushed.

Melissa explained why the DIY car repair was such a special moment for her.

“My ex-husband said that — pretty much made me feel like I couldn’t do s**t and I did this all by myself,” she said.

She put her hand on her heart, all smiles, and celebrating her accomplishment.

“Can you tell I’m so proud of myself?” she added.

The video drew in many viewers who weighed in with their own two cents on the matter.

“Awesome,” a third commented. “I love the feeling of accomplishing something on your own that you have initial anxiety about. You did it.”

“Girl that’s just the beginning,” yet another wrote. “Once you learn, you want more. So proud for you.”

“Same girl, same, and I’m out here fixing my car and changing my own oil now,” one more said.
