A MAN has hit out at trolls who told him to shave his body hair off after calling him “dirty”.
Michael Volkar is known as Mr. Teddy Bear on his social media accounts and regularly shows off his body hair to normalise it.
In one such video, he could be seen using a brush to comb the hair on his chest, back , shoulders and abs before using a hair dryer.
“I’ve got a life hack for you, you want to save some money on your heating bill? Just date a hairy guy,” he told viewers.
“Trust me, I’m a living furnace,” he added, calling his hair his “fur”.
People took to the comments section to share their thoughts over this as one person wrote: “Bro was born knitted,” to which he replied: “It’s farm raised organic hair,” with a crying with laughter emoji.
Another said: “Bro was born with a sweater”.
“U dont need a tshirt,” another said, to which he replied: “I am my own t shirt,” with a laughing emoji.
And while some people were all for Michael trying to normalise it and show off his body hair, others were less than supportive.
“Yeah no I’m good,” one person said while another shared: “I never knew human look like that”.
In another clip, Michael hit back those making cruel comments over his body.
Drying his hair, TikTok user @mrteddybeargrr wrote: “I’ve had enough of people telling me it’s dirty, hides muscle, unattractive…
“It’s here to stay, but you can go,” followed by a winking emoji.
In the caption, he added: “I’m free”.
People praised him for sticking up for himself as one person said: “3 words. Do Not Shave. You are fit the way you are!”
Another said: “I see nothing unattractive, don’t ever shave,” followed by three heart emojis.
A third wrote: “Ignore them you are beautiful as you are”.
And in another clip, he shared that he has hypertrichosis, otherwise known as ‘Werewolf Syndrome’.
It is defined as excessive growth anywhere on the body in either males or females.
