Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter is a top candidate to take the reins at Manchester United should Erik ten Hag leave, according to reports.

But if the Reds Devils do want to hire Potter, they’ll have to act fast as the Englishman is also wanted by Napoli.
The 48-year-old has been out of work since getting sacked by Chelsea back in April after a disastrous seven-month spell at Stamford Bridge.
He won just 12 of his 31 games in charge of the Blues, despite huge investment in the squad, with the club going on to finish 12th in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Potter still has a good reputation thanks to his impressive work at Brighton and has since been linked with a variety of clubs, including Nice, Leicester, Crystal Palace, Rangers and Lyon.
But it is said that Potter is waiting for a vacancy at a Champions League club, news that will delight Napoli who are interested in his services with the Serie A champions struggling under Rudi Garcia who only took over in the summer.
Former Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is also under consideration.
However, The Sun report that Potter is greatly admired by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and will be the leading candidate to replace Ten Hag when the Ineos owner completes his partial takeover at Old Trafford.
Ratcliffe is set to buy a 25% stake of the club for around £1.5billion and take control of the footballing operations.
As mentioned, the Nice owner attempted to lure Potter to the French side earlier this year, and could try again if Ten Hag is relieved of his duties.
Pressure has been growing on the Dutchman all season, with United enduring one of their worst starts to a campaign ever, having lost six of their 12 games across all competitions so far.
The results have left them ninth in the table, six points off leaders Manchester City, and bottom of their Champions League group, with their game against Copenhagen on Tuesday a must-win.
Other favourites to replace Ten Hag include Zinedine Zidane, Germany’s Julian Nagelsmann and the man who replaced Potter at Brighton – Roberto De Zerbi.
