Russell Brand has been questioned by police over allegations of sexual offences.

The TV personality and comedian was accused by multiple women of sexuaal offences including rape and sexual assault, in allegations uncovered by Channel 4 Dispatches and The Times in September.

Other women came forward with similar allegations in the days and weeks following.

The Metropolitan police have now stated they interviewed a man under police caution in relation to ‘non-recent’ sexual offences, according to The Times.

In a statement to The Mirror, a spokesperson said: ‘A man in his 40s attended a police station in South London on Thursday 16 November 2023.

‘He was interviewed under caution by detectives in relation to three non-recent sexual offences. Enquiries continue.’

Brand has previously denied all allegations against him.
