A CAR expert has revealed a set of automatic motors that are cheap, reliable and cost less than £3,000.
The TikToker posted a video and explained why each one is worth taking a punt on if you’re looking for a new whip.
Posting on his channel – Ace Upgrades – the car-mad lad regularly lets the public know about best-in-class car deals that are seriously worth considering.
In this video, he lists four automatic whips that are perfect for “first-time drivers”, reliable and won’t break the bank to insure.
He said: “Here are the best cars you’re going to get for under £3,000 if you’re a first time driver, and can only drive an automatic.”
But as a disclaimer, he also explained that “most” automatic motors are more expensive than people think.
He went on to say that although motorists can find some “cheaper” ones on Facebook, the cars he is showing most likely have a warranty and “some form” of paperwork that’ll come with them.
First on the list is a Vauxhall Corsa that’s priced at £2,995, with 48,000 miles on the clock.
The exact model is a 2007 1.2i 16v Life Hatchback 5dr Petrol Easytronic.
He said: “I’m pretty sure there’s a full service history as well, which is a big bonus.”
Second on the list is a Peugeot 107, costing £2,750, with just over 80,000 miles on the clock.
The exact model is a 2007 1.0 12V Urban Hatchback 3dr Petrol 2 Tronic Euro 4.
He said: “This looks really nice for the price.
“If you’re just getting from one place to another, have just passed your test and looking for a car with cheap insurance, then this is one of them.”
Third on the list is a Skoda Fabia, and it’s one of the cheapest on show at just £1,595.
The exact model is a 2004 1.4 16V Classic Hatchback 5dr Petrol Automatic.
He said: “You could get a cheaper 02 plate but I just think this one is better, and it’s in the band 5 insurance group.”
Lastly, he found a 19-year-old Toyota AYGO, it’s exactly £3,000 and has seriously low mileage.
The exact model is a 1.0VVT- i + Hatchback 3dr Petrol MultiMode Euro 4.
He said: “I don’t know how I found this but with just 29,000 miles, if it checks out, then it’s an absolute steal.
“I get that it’s 19 years old, but if it’s only done like over 1,000 miles a year then why the f**k not.”
MORE DEALS FOR BRITS LOOKING TO BUY
This comes after another TikTok car expert revealed the best SUVs Brits can pick up on a budget – including one of Blighty’s best sellers.
The selection of motors are all priced under £5,000 so there’s no need to break the bank on your next set of wheels.
But for those who are joining the EV club, a budget car firm has announced Britain’s cheapest EV – which will be available in just a few weeks.
The new car – made by Dacia – will cost around £10,000 less than anything else in the UK’s motor market.
